Small Cities Grants

Lisa Low & Associates specializes in writing and administering Small Cities grants. HUD-sponsored Small Cities grants are the single best source of community development funding for small towns. Currently Lisa Low & Associates is under contract with eleven Connecticut communities for the writing and administration of Small Cities grants: Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethlehem, Brookfield, New Fairfield, Preston, Putnam, Seymour, Shelton, Southbury, and Waterford. Small Cities grants are extremely hard to write and unless you have a full-time person dedicated to the daunting task, virtually impossible. We have a strong track record of success in writing Small Cities grants and, since costs are drawn directly from the grants, there is no direct cost to the town. With Small Cities funds you can accomplish the following activities, among others: infrastructure improvements; ADA improvements to public facilities, construction or expansion of Senior Centers; modernization of housing authorities; and rehabilitation of privately owned low and moderate income housing. Small Cities grants are a win-win for everyone involved.
